It’s no secret that compilations are at the very core of the Limbo philosophy. This release reveals an extraordinary new project for the collection, in the form of dozen mutant remixes and versions of both back catalogue material and new amalgamations.

We welcome Om Unit to the label for the first time with a galloping dub mutation, Bristol’s slow-jam wizards OSVMVSM flip Limbo material in their signature woozy style and Limbo HQ rears its head in the form of Titus 12 and Dive Reflex Service both remixing and becoming the remixed.

Listeners will also behold powerful examples of work from the talented Eusebeia (one raucous breaks, one a stunning vocal performance), Rodney in trance dub mode, the expanding sounds of Universe All, and a dizzying rendition of MTF’s “Point Two” by Lupo | Coyote.

Joining the hybrid frenzy from overseas is past Bristol resident and all round dance floor killer Hartta, out of Seville, and recent label resident Caro, bringing their downtempo beats and vaporous sonics all the way from Sinixt territory in British Columbia, Canada.

All in all, this release is a vibrant package of quintessentially Limbo compounds. Sometimes menacing and energetic, other times reflective, tense or playful. The physical comes on hazardous yellow cassette with terrifyingly appropriate mutant fold out artwork, including your very own Limbo style cut-out mutant face-swap game...
